Cheshire Supports to Independent Living Inc. provides supportive housing services for adults (16+) who live with physical disabilities and require a high level of assistance with daily living activities. Clients must be able to direct and communicate their own care. Personal Support Services are delivered in a group living environment with care available 24 hours a day for support and safety.
The home is wheelchair accessible and equipped with ramps and elevators, allowing clients to move independently throughout the building. The house accommodates up to 11 clients and includes shared common areas such as a living room, dining room, and outdoor patio space.
Personal Support Workers provide a wide range of daily supports, which may include:
- personal hygiene
- bathing and washing
- assistance with rising and retiring
- toileting
- lifts and transfers
- meal preparation
- light housekeeping
